This policy covers the personal data we collect and control through this website — for example, when you get in touch with us. When we build learning content for a client and handle personal data about their learners as part of that project, we act as a data processor on that client's instructions under a separate contract, and the client remains the data controller responsible for that data.

Information we collect, use, and why

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.

We will only share relevant personal information with professional or legal advisors if absolutely necessary.

We will share personal information with organisations when we're legally obliged to share it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• Be informed about how we use your personal data — this policy
• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete
• Ask us to delete your data in certain circumstances
• Ask us to restrict or object to how we use your data

• Object to decisions made about you by purely automated means — though we do not make such decisions.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond without undue delay and within one month at the latest. There is no charge, and we will not treat you any differently for asking.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to put things right. We will acknowledge your complaint and respond as quickly as we can.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Information collected on this website

When you complete the contact form on our Get in touch page, we collect:

• Your first and last name
• Your email address
• Your telephone number, if you choose to provide one
• Your company name
• The details of your enquiry
• A record that you agreed to this policy
• A record of whether you opted in to receive occasional updates from us

Providing these details is your choice, but we need at least your name and email address to reply to an enquiry. Your telephone number is optional.

You can also contact us directly by email, in which case we hold whatever you choose to send us.

Information we collect automatically

When you submit the contact form, our server also records your IP address and the date and time of your submission. We do this for two reasons: to keep a reliable record of enquiries in case of a delivery failure, and to operate a rate limit that prevents the form being abused for spam.

Our hosting provider also keeps standard server access logs, which include IP addresses, in the ordinary course of running the website.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is used — for example, which pages are visited and which devices people use. It is privacy-preserving by design: it does not use cookies, does not fingerprint individuals, and does not track visitors across other websites. We see aggregate trends, not individual people.

This website does not set any cookies of its own. See our Cookie statement for the detail, including the third-party services the site loads.

Who we share it with

On this website, we use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:

International transfers

Some of these providers operate outside the UK. Hostinger operates within the European Economic Area, which the UK covers by an adequacy decision. Cloudflare and Microsoft are based in the United States; where personal data is transferred there, it is protected by appropriate safeguards — such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (the UK-US 'data bridge') or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement. Bunny CDN is operated by BunnyWay d.o.o., which is based in Slovenia, within the European Economic Area. Because a content delivery network serves each file from whichever of its servers is nearest the visitor, a request may be handled outside the UK and EEA; those transfers are covered by the safeguards in Bunny's data processing agreement.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries — we keep enquiry correspondence and records for 2 years after our last contact with you, so we can pick up a conversation where it left off.
• Marketing consent — until you withdraw it, plus a record of the withdrawal.
• Server and security logs — for a short period only, as part of routine hosting.

If you become a client, project records are kept for longer under our terms of business.

Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses and the professionals who work in them. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data about children through this website.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and access to enquiry records is limited to people who need it. Configuration files and logs are held outside the publicly accessible part of the website. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use personal data, we will update this page and revise the date at the top.
